GAME Time April 2009 Ambitious, driven and qualified Volvo Car Corporation personnel have found their match in the VISTA Competition. As the bi-annual International Customer Service training competition from Volvo Cars, VISTA has been challenging technicians for over 30 years and is billed as the only competition of its kind in the industry. With a focus on learning, development, professional skills training and customer service, VISTA attracts approximately 16,000 employees worldwide and produces around 200 winners every competition cycle. |

GAME Time May/June 2009 In October 2008, two young automotive technicians graduated from the Audi Academy, an intensive 16-week training program that provides Audi Dealerships with high-caliber, exceptionally skilled technicians. Parker Price and Nick Daugherty graduated from Audi Academy’s Exton, PA, and Avondale, AZ, campuses respectively. Both quickly found jobs, even during these difficult economic times, and are on the path to a rewarding career as Audi-specialized technicians. |

GAME Time March 2009 Schmelz Countryside Volkswagen in St.
Paul, Minnesota, has had a lot of luck hiring
graduates from CTG’s Volkswagen Academy
Technician Recruitment Program
(VATRP). As a third generation family-owned
dealership, they began hiring from VATRP in
2002 seeking graduates with the right technical
skills to fit into their family culture.
Since the partnership with CTG began, they
have hired 13 technicians from the program
– averaging nearly two a year – and their
retention of these technicians is exceptional
as well. |

GAME Time February 2009 One of CTG’s best kept secrets has been
the MINI Service Technician Education Program
(STEP) taught at the Orlando, Florida
campus. For the past four years, MINI STEP
has held one class each year at this location.
But now, due to the overwhelming
success of the program, coupled with consumer
demand for the MINI product, BMW
USA has elected to increase the number of
classes significantly. |

GAME Time November 2008 Vicente Cervantes has been an International
Technician for four years. Blake Runnels
has been an International Technician for
four weeks. Although their years of service
differ, both are graduates of CTG’s International
Technician Education Program (ITEP)
and bring equal levels of passion, dedication
and a commitment to doing the best job
they can for their dealerships. |

GAME Time June/July 2008 Steve Bryant’s career as a Mercedes-Benz Master Certified Systems Technician began in the second half of his life. After a 17-year career in the grocery/food industry, he and his family made a couple life-altering decisions and have never looked back. First, they decided to move across the country from the Northwest to the Boston area to be closer to family. It was at this time that Steve also made the personal decision to put his old career behind and enroll as in an automotive training program at the age of 45.
